State-owned oil companies (IOC, HPCL & BPCL) on Saturday made petrol costlier by 35 paise per liter. With this, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 108.99 per liter in the national capital Delhi. In Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh, which is adjacent to the border of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, petrol rates have set a new record. 1 liter petrol in Balaghat costs Rs 120.06. Whereas diesel is Rs 109.32 per liter.

Talking about other metros of the country, petrol in Mumbai is Rs 114.81 and diesel is Rs 105.86 per liter. At the same time, petrol in Chennai is available at Rs 105.74 and diesel at Rs 101.92 per liter and in Kolkata at Rs 109.46 and diesel at Rs 100.84 per liter.
