CLAT Exam Date: The Consortium of National Law University (CNLU) has announced the dates for Common Law Admission Test. This time there has been some change regarding the exam. In the year 2022, this exam will be held twice.

Actually, the entrance examination of the year 2022 will be conducted on 8th May and the examination of the year 2023 will also be conducted in the year 2022 itself on 18th December.

This is happening for the first time, when the entrance examination of 2 different years is being held in the same year. According to the English newspaper ‘The Hindu’, this decision was taken in a general body meeting on November 14 at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. The program was presided over by Professor Faizan Mustafa.

Apart from this, another big decision has been taken that the counseling fee of unreserved category candidates has been reduced and now they will have to pay only 30 thousand rupees instead of 50 thousand.

On the other hand, the counseling fee for SC, ST, OBC, BC, EWS, PWD and other reserved category candidates will be Rs 20,000 only.

It is expected that after the announcement of the dates, soon the registration and other important dates will also be announced. It is worth mentioning that the common law admission test is taken for the admission of students who want to do UG and PG from top law colleges.

However, keeping in mind the Corona guidelines, it has also been decided that this exam will be conducted in offline mode this time.
