UPSC: Rajdeep worked as a Medical Officer in Civil Hospital, Jamalpur, Ludhiana. His journey to crack the UPSC exam and become an IAS was not an easy one.
UPSC: If you have courage and perseverance, even a difficult problem can be solved. The story of Dr Rajdeep Singh Khaira is similar. He passed the UPSC exam in the year 2020 and secured the All India 495th rank.
Rajdeep used to work as a Medical Officer in the Civil Hospital, Jamalpur, Ludhiana. His journey to crack the UPSC exam and become an IAS was not an easy one as his father passed away before the UPSC interview.
Dr Rajdeep failed the UPSC exam 4 times, but he did not give up and passed this difficult examination of the country in the fifth attempt. On this success, he had said that till the goal is not achieved, do not stop. Don’t choose to leave anything in the middle. We must have a never ending outlook. I failed many times, but I kept trying till I got success.
Rajdeep’s father died in May 2021 during the second wave of Corona and Rajdeep’s interview for UPSC took place in September 2021. But Rajdeep’s hard work and dedication made him reach the destination.
Rajdeep studied up to 12th from Ludhiana. He did MBBS from Government Medical College and Rajendra Hospital Patiala. After this he served as a Medical Officer in the Civil Hospital.
Rajdeep believes that the use of social media should be reduced because it is very confusing. He also believes that one should accept every defeat that comes in the way until success is achieved.
