Petrol Diesel Price: Announcement of latest prices of petrol and diesel, know what are the prices of oil in your city

The festival of Diwali has brought news of relief to the common people who are suffering due to the inflation of petrol and diesel. On the day of Diwali, where oil prices have come down by Rs 5 to 17, there has been no change in the price of oil for the last 8 days. But despite this, oil prices are making Delhiites cry. Actually, the reason for this is the huge difference in oil prices in Delhi and its adjoining cities of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

At present, the Delhi government has not cut any VAT. But petrol diesel has become cheaper in its neighboring states of UP and Haryana. Due to this, the price of petrol in Delhi on Friday is Rs 103.87 and the price of diesel is Rs 86.67. Whereas in Noida adjacent to Delhi, petrol is available for Rs 95.51 and diesel for Rs 87.01. That is, the difference in price is Rs 8.46. Whereas in Gurugram, Haryana, petrol is priced at Rs 95.90. However on diesel this difference is not much. Diesel is priced at Rs 87.01 in Noida and Rs 86.67 in Delhi.

Crude oil gave relief

Good news is coming in the foreign markets regarding crude oil. Crude inventory in the US has risen by 1 million barrels. UBS analyst Giovanni Stanovo says that after the strength of the last few days, now crude will soften. There may be further downside from the current level. Experts believe that the demand for crude has returned to the pre-Covid level. Demand may exceed 2019 levels in the first quarter of 2022. In such a situation, crude can touch the level of $ 100 per barrel in January.

difference of Rs 12 between UP MP

Now let’s talk about Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The gap between petrol prices here is huge. If we talk about two border cities, where petrol in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh costs Rs 107.93, while in Jhansi adjoining it is Rs 94.92. That is, only 15 km. At a distance you are getting 12 rupees cheaper petrol.

What is the difference between Bihar and UP

Talking about the marginal states, the difference is also visible between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The price of petrol in Ballia district of UP adjoining Bihar is Rs 96.06. On the other side of the border, in Chhapra district of Bihar, petrol is being available for Rs 106.58. That is, there is a huge difference of Rs 10.52 in the price between the two states.

Same is the case in other states as well.

This gap between the major metros and states of the country regarding prices is increasing. The price of diesel in Jaipur, Rajasthan is Rs 95.71, while petrol is being sold at Rs 111.10 per litre. Diesel is currently available in Mumbai at Rs 94.14 per liter, while the price of petrol is Rs 109.98 per liter. No announcement has been made by the Maharashtra government to reduce VAT on diesel-petrol. The per liter price of petrol in Chennai is Rs 101.40. Diesel costs Rs 91.43 in Chennai and is running at Rs 86.67 per liter in Delhi.
