Google doodle celebrates Dr Kamal Ranadive, Who is Dr Kamal Ranadive –

Google Doodle Today: She was also a key founding member of the Indian Association of Women Scientists (IWSA). Dr Kamal Jaisingh Ranadive was also awarded the Padma Bhushan.

Google Doodle Dr Kamal Ranadive: Google is celebrating the 104th birthday of Indian cell biologist Dr Kamal Ranadive with a doodle today. Ranadive is known for his groundbreaking cancer research and for creating a more equitable society through science and education. Today’s doodle has been created by guest artist Ibrahim Rayintakath from India. Talking about his inspiration for today’s doodle, Rayintakath said: “My main source of inspiration was 20th century lab aesthetics and the microscopic world of cells related to leprosy and cancer.” Dr. Ranadive is looking at a microscope in his doodle.

Kamal Samarth, popularly known as Kamal Ranadive, was born on this day in 1917 in Pune, India. His father inspired him for medical education. Kamal’s father Dinkar used to be a biology professor at Fergusson College in Pune. His aim was that all the children of the house should get the best education, especially the daughters. Kamal lived up to his father’s expectations. He passed every exam of life with good marks. Kamal would always learn something new and show it by doing well in it. She was also a key founding member of the Indian Association of Women Scientists (IWSA). Dr Kamal Jaisingh Ranadive was also awarded the Padma Bhushan.
