New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult has withdrawn his name for the upcoming two-Test series against India. Although he is part of the team in the T20 series. Bolt has been playing cricket for 12 weeks in a row and wants to refresh himself. This is the reason why he is taking a break for some time.

While Boult is currently in India for the three-match T20I series, he will return home after the last limited-overs match in Kolkata to freshen up ahead of the home Test series against Bangladesh.

Bolt said in the video released by ‘New Zealand Cricket’, “The World Cup is a huge stage but playing in India against India is probably second. I think our players are definitely ready for that and adapting to the conditions. Predicting wickets well is going to be important here.

Bolt was also a part of the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) before the T20 World Cup. He said that he is concentrating on the summer series in New Zealand.
