Mumbai beat Oman by 4 wickets, take a 3-0 lead in the series

Fifties from Drew Gomel, Hardik Tamore and Sairaj Patil helped Mumbai beat hosts Oman by four wickets in the fourth match of 50 overs to register their third win in the series on Friday.

Opener Kashyap Prajapati’s 138-ball 146 helped Oman post a competitive score of 248 for eight after electing to bat first.

However, Mumbai chased down the target in 46.5 overs for the loss of six wickets. While chasing the target, Mumbai lost two wickets for 18 runs but openers Gomel and Tamore put on a 109-run partnership for the third wicket to bring the team back.

Gomel contributed 60 while Tomore contributed 58 runs. The team were once again in trouble after losing three wickets in a short span when the score was 150 for five.

Patil (52 not out) made 92 excellent partnerships with captain Shams Mulani (41) to give the team victory. Aman Khan remained unbeaten on seven runs.
