New initiative of Honda India Foundation, segregation centers set
New Delhi. Honda India Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Honda Group of companies in India, has set up COVID-19 care isolation centers in Haryana and Rajasthan. Honda Foundation said in a statement on Monday that its 100-bed center at Naurangpur (Haryana) and 50-bed center at Tapukara (Rajasthan) have started operations.

The statement said that both these centers have been established with the cooperation of the Haryana and Rajasthan governments. Trained doctors and nurses will be stationed round the clock at the center. Along with this other necessary medical facilities will also be available here.

Honda India Foundation has committed to spending Rs 6.5 crore under COVID-19 relief efforts in five states- Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat. The organization said it is also setting up oxygen generation plants at Manesar (Haryana), Alwar (Rajasthan), Kolar (Karnataka), and Gautam Budh Nagar (Uttar Pradesh). (agency)
