Sanjay Kapoor has been busy promoting this web series through interviews and statements for the past few days. He is playing one of the four main characters of the story, Arup, who has been transferred from the Mumbai Police Service to the Sikkim Police Service. The second character is that of his colleague Inspector Lipika (Shahana Goswami), the third main character is Arup’s daughter Pari (Shaylee Krishna) and the most important character is Dev (Karma Tapaka) who is a shaman (talking to spirits) in this web series. person) in the role.

Yama Nadu kills Pari with her powers, and Dev is left with only one option to save Pari’s life with the help of his powers. By altering the events that took place in his last hour.

There are many reasons to watch this web series. One can see the beauty of Sikkim. Cinematographer Jayesh Nair has engraved on the hills, rivers, winding paths, cabins built on the hills and the cool scene in Sikkim’s fiza. The archery scenes by Dev are very well shot, the car passing through the mist of the mountains, the small details like the sight of few vehicles on the roads at night are captured well by Jayesh. Editing has been given to Peter Alderliston and Annette Medema. Peter has also previously edited an Indian web series named “The Forgotten Army”. A suspense web series that has to mix shaman, a bit of witchcraft and thriller, its pace has been maintained perfectly. Some episodes seem a bit lengthy but it is very important to expand the story and create an effect of suspense. America’s Ginger Shankar has given tremendous music. Ginger herself plays the violin very well and has used the violin to create an atmosphere of fear, suspense and bone-chilling chill in the theme music.

Talking about the story, such a long web series has never been imagined before. “Asura”, which released on Voot, was a bit gruesome and quoted Hindu beliefs along with the story of a human becoming an Asur. The concept of shaman is seen in the Red Indian tribes of America. This is the first time this has been done in any web series in India, hence the novelty. The story is a bit creepy so there is no emotional connection to any artist except Karma, Shayli and Raima Sen. This is the second collaboration of director Amit Kumar and writer Anupama Minz, who had previously co-written the 2013 film Monsoon Shootout with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The story’s attempt to hide many secrets in the mist of Sikkim is very good. Although at many places the story seems to be stuck in a loop, the same incident seems to happen again and again, while it is not so. The director has used a boat to take the soul to another world, it is very different…effective. In the last episode, when the veil of the mystery becomes a bit weak, here it was the producer director of the web series that needed to think again.

Sanjay Kapoor’s character is very poor and he has not done anything special in acting. Anyway, he is not known for acting. Shahana Goswami should be a little more serious about her roles. His character is good but a good prospect has to be lost because of just one bedroom scene. He should have given dimension to the character. Karma Tapaka is from Sikkim, and along with acting, also directs films. It seems that the writers were able to create the character of Dev only after meeting him. He has acted well but he does not know when to see him next time. Karma has a Diploma in Direction and Screenwriting from FTII. Shaylee in the character of Pari is originally from Kashmir and she has learned a lot from the political turmoil there which is also visible on her beautiful face. Such maturity is rarely seen at such a young age. In a special character, Raima Sen, who has only 3 or 4 dialogues in the entire series, but her presence continues to affect the entire plot. Robin Tamang has been very impressive in the role of Yama Nadu, his make-up is also very scary.

If speed is not a problem then you can watch “The Last Hour”, although by sitting for so long, you may not be able to binge watch all the episodes, then watch in installments. There are new types of web series and it should be seen to promote this type of web series. There will be a possibility of doing more work on subjects like Murder, Suspense, Crime, Mystery, Super Natural.
