There will be no break between Paper 1 and Paper 2. In this total questions will be 150 and it will be of 300 marks. The total duration of both the papers will be 3 hours.

National Testing Agency will conduct NET exam in 81 subjects at various examination centers in India to determine eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor in various Indian Universities/Colleges/Institutes recognized by the UGC.

NET exam for 7 subjects i.e. Bengali, Kannada, Home Science, Hindi, Geography, Sociology and Sanskrit will be held between 15-23 December 2021. The exam schedule for these will be announced soon on the NTA website.

UGC NET 2021 exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which will have two papers. Paper 1 and 2 will be conducted in a single session. Paper 1 will have 50 questions and it will be of 100 marks. Paper 2 will have 100 questions, it will be of 200 marks.

There will be no break between Paper 1 and Paper 2. In this total questions will be 150 and it will be of 300 marks. The total duration of both the papers will be 3 hours.

Paper 1 will have 50 objective type questions, but there will be no negative marking. There will be subjective questions in Paper 2.
