Apart from this, the time limit for redressal of complaints has been mentioned. “In order to provide investors with an idea about various activities relating to primary market issues as well as options such as acquisition, buyback or delisting, an investor authorization letter has been prepared in consultation with merchant bankers,” SEBI said in the circular. SEBI said that with a view to bring transparency in the investor grievance redressal system, all registered merchant bankers shall place on their respective websites the data of complaints received against them or the issues resolved by them and their redressal. They will need to provide this information individually as well as collectively.
