TV actress Shivangi Joshi is all set for her new journey as the lead protagonist ‘Anandi’ in the daily soap ‘Balika Vadhu’. Shivangi has earlier gained a lot of fame with ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. As the show is going to take a leap of 9 years, Shivangi will play the character of young ‘Anandi’ in it. She will join the new cast including Samriddhi Bawa, who plays the role of ‘Jigar’ (‘Anandi’s husband). There is Randeep Rai as Anand, who is playing the role of Anandi’s close friend in the show. Live will be shown in the show from December 1, as well as new twists and turns will be seen in the show.

Shivangi is excited to step into this new character and said about it that this character is different from the first season. I play the role of a 17 year old college going girl, who is a nice, positive and cheerful girl. She is very sweet and bubbly in nature.
