Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has become the second most valuable IT (Information Technology) services brand across the world. According to a report by Brand Finance, Accenture is currently at number one in terms of brand before Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). On this report, TCS said that “this growth is attributed to the number of people who have invested in the company’s brand and its employees, customer equity and strong financial performance.” Explain that brand value reflects the current value of earnings of any company. David Haig, CEO and President, Brand Finance, said, “TCS has become the second most valuable brand in the region for the first time and continues to improve its IT services rankings. Last year, TCS strengthened its global brand position and as a result of continuous investments in this company, it has become the second largest brand value company in the IT sector today.
Brand Finance itself in its report has acknowledged that Indian IT companies are performing well. Their brand value is increasing, but the American company has been left behind.
