Indian Army Recruitment: It is a matter of great pride for a youth to be a part of the Indian Army. Every year lakhs of youth in the country prepare to join the army, but only a few people get success.

But it is also certain that if you have strong will power, then you will definitely get selected in the army. In such a situation, it is important to know what process we have to go through in order to join the army.

Here is the process to apply-

1- First of all it has to be noted that for which post in the army you want to apply. To apply for some posts, you must have passed 10th and 12th, while for some posts it is necessary to be a graduate.

2- After that go to the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in and apply for the respective post.

3- After the candidates have applied, their documents are scrutinized. Those whose documents are correct are called for physical fitness test. After passing this test, the candidates are taken a physical measurement test. On passing it the candidates are called for medical examination.

4- The candidates who pass in the medical examination are called for the written examination. Then a merit list of the candidates is prepared and accordingly the services are allotted to the selected candidates and they are sent to report at their centres.

Keep these things in mind before applying-

1- Keep in mind the most that if you have to be admitted somewhere, then you will have to intensify the preparation from 2-3 months before that. You have to work hard to clear the physical test.

2- Before army recruitment, update yourself about the age limit. Now the age limit for army recruitment has been increased from 21 years to 23 years.

3- Keep your documents ready. If any of your documents are missing at the time of recruitment, then all your hard work can be ruined.

4- Increase your running speed and stamina. Cracking the Army Medical and Fitness Test is not an easy task.
